There was one other member of the mangrove family that I needed to make sure I brought attention to and that is the Green Buttonwood.


This is another Florida native tree that tolerates brackish areas along the banks estuarine habitats. These trees thrive in full sun, sandy soils, and of course, salty conditions.
My mangrove mission is complete.. onward to the next.
