Range: One square mile
When photographing the white-tailed deer you can not overlook the massive amount of ticks that are clustered around their face and ears. This has to be so uncomfortable for them.
Photographers: There can be a possibility to get close for a great photograph with your zoom or telephoto lens, a 300mm to a 800mm. When you see a white-tailed deer grazing, just be patient, be quiet and move very slow. Stand there for a moment, as they continue to graze, take a couple more steps forward, stop, wait a moment and continue to get the deer within your frame.

I have been photographing at Chassahowitzka WMA for many years and I have yet to see a buck. Surely that is on my photo bucket list!
